Are you favor in removing Filipino subject in tertiary level? Why or why not?
In our opinion, it’s a no. Because, Filipino language, which is Tagalog, is the national language in this country, which is the Philippines. As Filipinos, we should be proud of our own country, not only Filipinos should be proud of their own country but also other people should be proud of their own country too.
It’s not bad to learn other languages, like English language, Korean language, etc. but for us it has some disadvantages like wasting your time, you can miss opportunities or things. You can do something else with the time that you wasted learning other language, such as spending time with your family and friends, learning new hobbies, focusing in your studies, etc. but learning other language has some advantages too, such as having conversation with other people that speaks a different language and many more.
